About the Author

Melyn Dumas aka Cheemie Dumas is a Journalism graduate and a licensed teacher with experience in both Early Childhood Education and High School instruction. She once taught Nursery, Kindergarten, Junior, and Senior High School students and is currently a dedicated homeschool teacher and tutor, guiding children through Curated Touch under the U.S. curriculum.

Beyond the classroom, Melyn is a passionate writer of children’s stories and deeply personal memoirs. Her writing journey is inspired by her love for storytelling, her reflections on faith, and her desire to uplift others through words. She actively shares her work on her Facebook page, Chee Chee’s Corner and Butterfly Thoughts, where she posts reflections and inspiring narratives that touch the soul.

She is also the voice behind the podcast Chee Chee’s Corner streamed on Spotify, where she speaks from the heart about healing, faith, forgiveness, and real-life experiences. Melyn extends her creativity through her travel and “teach-you-how” blog site, “Journey with my Pinaycheedee“, where she documents travel adventures and provides practical guides on visa processing and international marriage procedures.
